Longitude 2015

July 31, 2015

Oh my. It’s been a while. I have something to show you.

Longitude 2015

I weirdly feel like I should apologise for not being active on this. I’m not too sure why.

I’ve been up to my eyeballs with work for the past couple of months; finding time outside of being stuck in a lab during the day and writing a thesis to go with that has been pretty difficult, so unfortunately I couldn’t commit to hobbies that interest me more – such as this.

Luckily, things are starting to wind down a little bit – and I have some pretty cool things to share with you over the next few weeks. I hope you’ll be here to see them.

This month, I made it to this years annual Longitude music festival in Dublin’s Marlay Park – it was an incredible music festival with an outstanding line up (Years and Years! The Chemical Brothers! Hozier!). There’s something special about the vibe and atmosphere at festivals like this that makes it such a feel good experience for everyone there – I never wanted to leave.

An outstanding Dublin based production company called Little Beast make the official Longitude video each year (They also do Electric Picnic and Body & Soul – Little Beast, if any of you guys are reading this, take me along with you to Picnic, please!). Their videos for Longitude and Electric Picnic really impressed me last year – so I thought I’d try out making my own video using my iPhone (as usual).

Anyway, before I ramble any longer, here it is. Enjoy.
