November Round Up. December News.

That month really flew by, didn’t it? Let’s take a look back at things, and a look forward to some very cool things yet to come (!!!!!!!1!!one!!!!).

I love Instagram. If you’ve been following my own Instagram account over the past month, you’ll have noticed that I’m posting a lot more content on that in the last couple of weeks. It’s quick, I like the microblogging style it offers, and if I’m honest, it is so much less time consuming than making a video of what I’ve been up every week or two. Not that I don’t still enjoy the vlogging side of things – but sometimes it can demand a bit too much time in an already busy schedule, and that really has been the case these past few weeks.

So, to make up for lost time, here some highlights of what I’ve been up to this past month.


I covered things in a lot more detail over on my Web Summit post, but I’m still in awe from it. It was so cool to be surrounded by so many forward thinkers and innovators; innovators like the creator of Instagram, or one of the biggest names in modern music, Steve Angello:

I like to wear a watch everyday. I also like good looking watches. I picked up one of these bad boys at the start of the month – I’m pretty obsessed with it, but I don’t think my embarrassing child sized wrists are too keen:

Understated. Minimal. Key.

This is only my second full month living in Dublin, so it was a nice novelty to see the Christmas lights shining along Grafton Street – it really got the Christmas vibes going as winter sets in.

Winter time also means onesie time – fine by me, I’m already on it:

One thing in particular stands out as the highlight for this month: 100minds. I was over the moon to be picked as one of the participants in this years campaign. If you aren’t familiar with 100minds, it’s a not for profit that unites some of Ireland’s young minds together to raise money each year for a chosen charity. This year, that chosen charity is ChildLine. And together, we’re aiming to raise €1,000,000 to ensure the phonelines don’t go dark for children in need now and in the future.

I attended the launch event with one of the lads and we were seriously impressed with how it encouraged us to network with like-minded peers and mentors from so many different walks of life, and brainstorm ideas with one another. It really got us pumped to start fundraising for this incredibly worthwhile cause – and I am so grateful to be a part of it.

I’m going to be using my video work as one way of fundraising for the campaign – much more on that soon. Well, I promised you big December news, so I won’t beat around the bush here…

Expedia X TomSauce

The lovely ol’ folks at Expedia are sending me to Berlin to get in some cool tourist activities and to tell you guys all about it. I’m really looking forward to it – this is gonna be good. I can’t wait to check out everything I can over there, and I hope you’ll join me for the adventure. In the meantime, there is another city that I visited recently that I need to show you guys – stay tuned for that one next weekend.
