This weekend I had the pleasure of being asked along to a uniquely Irish take on Oktoberfest; Oktoberfest Beag.
What makes it Irish I hear you ask? Well…
And the fact that the Cork iteration of Oktoberfest Beag is held in the iconic Beamish & Crawford brewery quarter. I loved it. Every single second of it. Oktoberfest Beag celebrates everything Bavarian: the brass band, the fräuleins, the food, and of course the beer. It was a really cool novelty and these guys pulled it off really well. As usual, everything was shot on my iPhone. For tickets, more info on Oktoberfest Beag and where it stops off next, check out their website.
I hope you’re having a good week – I know I’ve been silent for a couple of weeks since Electric Picnic. I was basically on a 3 week race to finish everything for my college course – and now I’m all done. Yippee.
I’ll be sharing something very cool on here late next week – assuming I’m not spending all my time at Oktoberfest Beag again! Be sure to keep an eye on my Instagram (@tomasmc) and Facebook page for some sneak peeks.
Take it easy, and go and enjoy some beer at the brewery if you can.
